I have a credit card. I have had it for over a year now. It’s not my only card, I still have debt on others.

This one however, has never been used and it’s via from a bank I had unpleasant dealings with a few years back.

I simply don’t use it. But every few months, as and when I remember, I take it out and cut it up. Then I call the credit card company and tell them I destroyed the card and please could I get a replacement.

It costs them in service, generating a new card and postal delivery.

Very, very, very little of course.

It’s a tiny victory, but a moral one that warms my heart a couple of times a year. I recommend it to anyone.
